The Perfect IBD Diet

I get so many questions about the “IBD diet.” Plant-based? Carnivore? Paleo? SCD? FODMAPS? It’s enough to make anyone’s head spin.

The answer is this. There is no one diet that works perfectly for everyone. There are patterns though. And certain foods affect many people. Anyone who says diet and nutrition are not related to IBD is dead wrong and anyone who tells you that their diet is cure-all is just as wrong. It’s about finding what bothers you and what helps you and using a strategic approach. I am in remission today because I have gone through this process and found the foods that keep me healthy.
