Help Us Rewrite the Future of IBD

Inflammatory bowel disease is a lifetime condition, and so memberships to IBDCoach last a lifetime, too. With IBDCoach, the grant recipient receives lifetime access to science-based curriculum, weekly group workshop calls with leading IBD experts, one-on-one remission coaching sessions, and membership to our compassionate and like-minded community of IBDers. Provide an IBDer with a lifetime of resources to help them live their life to the fullest.

Healthcare expenses are the leading cause of bankruptcy in the United States, and for a condition that costs over $22,000 out-of-pocket per year to manage, IBDers are at an especially high risk for having poor access to quality healthcare services. By sponsoring comprehensive patient education and advocacy, IBDfund is breaking down barriers to healthcare access and promoting equity in IBD treatment worldwide.

IBDfund is developing a comprehensive study of the efficacy of the IBDCoach program, set to begin in 2023. Between sponsoring grants, recruiting participants, collecting data (including fecal tests, colonoscopic assessments of disease activity, and detailed patient interviews), analyzing the data, and writing a peer reviewed research publication, we have a lot of work to do.

IBDCoach is grounded in bringing science-based treatment interventions to life. The results of our efficacy study will fuel the development of novel treatment approaches, expand the IBDCoach curriculum, and drive the further study of treatment approaches like ours in the scientific community. IBD is just the beginning of what the IBDCoach framework is capable of accomplishing.

Meet Anna

Grant Recipient & Crohn’s Warrior

From seven years of struggling to remission within seven months of joining IBDCoach

"The grant allowed me to take control and understand my disease. It allowed me to be free. Having my health back meant I could fall in love with life again. I am so lucky to be a part of such a fantastic community and team of experts"

IBDCoach has already self-funded over $130,000 in awards

but there is more work to be done.

Every week, we are forced to turn away IBDers that are deserving of remission
